Garrett Leight California Optical’s Spring/Summer collection is inspired by timeless getaways, and the colors of that serene oasis we all want to escape to. Clean, classic, and comfortable frames shine in a well balanced mix of rich, soft, and vibrant hues. Colors such as, “Whiskey Tortoise”, “Leight Beige” reminiscent of the soft sand, and “Pink Blush” a vision of cotton candy.
The collection is an assortment of refined and technical designs that maintain a beautiful simplicity. Foldable frames, sunglass clips, layered mirrored lenses, and detailed filigree, are just a few of the notable features throughout. Fan favorites such as the Kinney, Milwood, Wilson, return this season completely reimagined. However for us, one of the highlights would have to be the new “Van Buren” sunglass, which adds to its cool factor by neatly collapsing down for easy transport and storage. A new version of the staple Wilson style. The Wilson M (metal) is a minimalist, yet highly refined and sophisticated sunglass. It features detailed filigree along the eye wire and end pieces and Japanese layered mirror lenses done in beautiful surreal colors: “Magenta” and “Dodger” Blue.

The Kinney is given some extra flavor with the addition of acetate windsor rims to the Kinney Clip. This sytle still holds the same functionality of the metal folding clip, but now with the ability to create interesting color combinations, such as the “Whiskey Tortoise” frame with Matte Black clip on or the “Leight Beige” frame with “Dark Golden Tortoise” clip on featured below.
