Michael Bastian for Randolph Engineering
American Eyewear brand Randolph Engineering, who has been making classic shades for over four decades, gets a fashion boost from American menswear designer Michael Bastian. Bastian, known for his clean and American-prep styling, puts a twist on several pieces from the Randolph archives, as well as helps create a few completely new designs.
The JD is inspired by the frames worn by American actor and icon James Dean. It is a classic P3 design which works as well today as it did way back then. It is a unisex smaller fitting frame which provides a refined look on both men and women alike. It is handmade in Italy using Mazzucchelli acetate and offered here in tortoise with grey lenses.
