"Handmade in Italy, Designed in NY" is the philosophy behind New York based, ILLESTEVA.
Illesteva takes inspiration from downtown NY, as well as music, fashion, and photography, to put a distinctly contemporary spin on classic style. Working in concert with some of the leading eyewear manufacturers in Italy, France, and Germany, they seek to push normal boundaries of design by exploring fresh shapes, colors, and materials.
The Illesteva Felix is a classic squared off design with contemporary embossed detailing throughout, and features a detachable metal sunglass clip which can easily be taken on/off. So you can fit them with a prescription and wear them as an eyeglass, then quickly clip on the tinted lenses when you step into the sun. However, even if you only plan to wear as a sunglass, it still undoubtedly makes for a unique and sophisticated piece. It is offered here in classic Havana paired with a silver metal clip on and grey lenses.
